Designer Tuesday: David Yurman

On one of my many excursions abroad, I went to Barcelona, Spain and found this David Yurman inspired bracelet at a Barcelona market place. As shown in the pictures above and below. I seriously was not looking for anything that looked like a designer bracelet or inspired by a designer. When I go shopping, I typically look at the style and make of the bracelet and whether it is a good buy, especially as a souvenir for friends.
David Yurman is American designer of jewelry for men and women and is sold in approximately 18 David Yurman boutiques across 10 states.David Yurman began his trade as a sculpture, selling his designs in high school and at the early age of 16 was introduced to Cuban welder and sculptor Enesto Gonzales.

In 1982, David Yurman introduced his signature, a twisted helix cable bracelet with gemstones on its ends. Other notable collections include Silver Ice, the Buckle Collection (pictured below) and the X collection. His collection prices range from $450 to $32,000. Yeah, $32,000, that was not a typo.

So what do you think? Was my find a good buy?....
